During this maintenance window, we will recalculate the DURATION_SUM column in activity tables in the CDM_LMS submodel, in order to correct the duration of login sessions over 4 hours long. This work will be undertaken at various times during this window to minimize impact, but the following issues may be experienced: o Learn SaaS Original Course Report refresh may be delayed o Queries to the following tables may take longer than usual to finish, may time out or may show varying results CDM_LMS.ACTIVITY CDM_LMS.SESSION_ACTIVITY CDM_LMS.COURSE_ACTIVITY CDM_LMS.COURSE_ITEM_ACTIVITY o Refresh of Blackboard Data Reporting reports based on CDM_LMS Activity tables may be delayed o Integrations with client-side BI tools and automated services may run longer than usual or may time out. o Analytics for Learn “booster packs” may be impacted o Following completion of this work, you may notice a difference in the time-on-task in these tables and reports that use them, and those clients who have downstream ETL processes based on the row_updated_time column will find that their ETL processes will take longer initially following the completion of these calculations as the updated duration_sum values are propagated.
