The SafeAssign servers will be under maintenance during the following service window:
Start: Tuesday, July 19th, 2022 05:00 UTC End: Tuesday, July 19th, 2022 08:00 UTC
This service window was scheduled taking into consideration the service lowest usage period. During this service window the following items will be affected:
Learn clients: • Submissions in an Assignment - will be queued until SafeAssign is back online • Direct Submit - submitting a paper here won't be possible - HTTP 503 will be returned by Learn during an attempt to Access Course Tools > SafeAssign. • Creating a new Assignment within an existing Course during the maintenance window will cause that these Assignments will have the option "Check submissions for plagiarism using SafeAssign" disabled. This option will be disabled (unchecked) even if the instructor enables it during the creation of the Assignment. Therefore, any submissions within this Assignment will not be processed or queued to be processed. In this specific use-case the instructor will have to edit the settings of such an Assignment after the maintenance window is over and re-enable the "Check submissions for plagiarism using SafeAssign" option.
Other clients: • Submissions submitted in an Assignment - SafeAssign service will return HTTP 503. • Direct Submit is not yet supported in the currently released version
